After finishing his schooling, Hemesh completed his Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electronics and communications Engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Allahabad (Prayagraj), Uttar Pradesh (2009-2013). 


CAREER

In 2013, Hemesh Singh and Gaurav Munjal (Chief executive Officer (CEO) and a Co-Founder at Unacademy) founded FlatChat. FlatChat is a real estate platform for college students and bachelors across India. Gaurav sold FlatChat to Common Floor a year later after the company was formed (i.e in 2014). In 2014, Hemesh became the Chief technology Officer (CTO) of the company. But left the company in September 2015. In the same month (and the same year) , Hemesh along with Gaurav Munjal and Roman Saini founded 'Unacademy'. Unacademy is an Indian 'educational technology company' that aims at providing high quality educational content to students either free or via paid subscription. 

He is currently the Co-Founder and also the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Unacademy.
