Sumit Gupta is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive officer (CEO) at CoinDCX (CoinDCX is India's largest cryptocurrency exchange).He has done his Graduation and Post Graduation from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay. He believes that in order to attract people towards the crypto industry it is important to educate people about cryptocurrency and also invent a plethora of cryptocurrency products which are accessible to the common man on their palms and tips.

CAREER  

He has worked as a Data Research Analyst for Columbia Business School. He states "The crisis that erupted in Andhra Pradesh in early October 2010 hit at the epicenter of microfinance in India and has implications there, across the country, and globally. My assignment was to use the raw data and generate insights from it to share with the Indian Govt. and Microfinance Institutions (MFIs). Worked under Prof. Emily Breza (MIT) and Glenn Hubbard (Dean, CBS)". Then after finishing his Graduation and Post Graduation from IIT Bombay, he started working for Sony as a Software Engineer (July 2014-August 2015). Later in March 2018 he Co-founded CoinDCX in early 2018 upon noticing a vacuum of information and understanding around the cryptocurrency ecosystem in India. He found that it was very hard for normal people to efficiently trade their cryptocurrencies, to solve the problem he (co) founded CoinDCX that makes trading in digital assets easier than ever.

As per reports Sumit has a net worth of over Rs. 2.8 Cr.
