Gaurav is the founder and owner of two educational YouTube channels 'GetsetflySCIENCE' and 'GetsetflyFACT'. He is the owner of the third most subscribed individual educational YouTube channel 'GetsetflySCIENCE'. He lives in Mumbai and was born in Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand.

He started his YouTube channel with the name 'Getsetfly' but later changed it to "GetsetflySCIENCE' in order to make people identify it as a channel fully dedicated to Science. He believes that science makes people more knowledgeable to take independent decisions, It gives people a rational thinking.

When he was 18, he started working at an International call center. He is often complemented on his voice, he has a clear and confident voice. He gave the credit to the call center for giving him enough confidence to talk and narrate, because before joining the call center Gaurav was quite an introvert. He also worked at a business company where he learned how business and finance works.

He tried many different jobs to find his true passion. Then in February 2017 he started his YouTube channel 'Getsetfly' and later changed it to 'GetsetflySCIENCE' . The channel now has over 4.5 Million subscribers and 420 Million views (as of April 2021). After the channel being quite successful, in December 2018 he started a new YouTube channel 'GetsetflyFACT'. Which now has over 3 Million subscribers and over 430 Million views (as of April 2021).
