Sejal Bhat is a Stand-Up comedian and a content writer.She is also the co-founder of Androoni Mic (an exclusive space for women to create and perform open Mics) She attained limelight after her appearance as a contestant in the show Comicstaan (a Stand-Up comedy show aired on Amazon Prime) Season 1. She was among the top ten contestants of the show and started getting recognized by people after the show was aired.

She completed her schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya School and enrolled in M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women, Chennai, in 2010 to pursue her Bachelor’s degree in Journalism.

CAREER

After Sejal Bhat’s degree completion in 2013, she worked as an Asset Management Analyst for Goldman Sachs in Bangalore for two years. Later,  in 2016 she quit the job to work as the managing editor for an agriculture magazine. Then in 2017 she gave the auditions for the stand-up comedy competition television series by Amazon Prime video Comicstaan. She got selected among the top ten contestants of the show. She performed many great sets and was praised a lot by the judges. Although she didn't win the show, but the show gave her fame, confidence and a lot of knowledge about Stand-Up Comedy. 

In the year 2017, Sejal Co-Founded Androoni Mic (an exclusive space for women to create and perform). Then in 2019, Sejal Bhat appeared in a Netflix’s short video Moving into a haunted house IRL alongside Kenny Sebastian (a famous Stand-Up Comedian). She also has a YouTube channel with almost 1 lac subscribers and over 6 Million views (as of May 2021).

2. As her father is a banker, her whole family had to move in different states. She has lived in almost 8 states.
