She did her schooling from Delhi Public School R.K. Puram, New Delhi.
Then She Pursued Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, New Delhi (2005-2006). Later in 2012 she went on to pursue Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from The Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow.
CAREER
In 2009, Prashasti began her career as a Business Technology analyst at Deloitte Consulting. She worked there for a year and a half and then left the job. In 2012 she started working at Dell as the senior analyst. But after some time she left the job and in 2013 joined P&G as a marketing intern. She left the job and joined as an Assisting Marketing Manager at Star TV Network, and by July 2016 she was promoted to become the category head at Star TV Network. She worked at Star TV Network for 4 years and while she was working there she took part in an Improv class 'Break the monotony of corporate class' where she met new people who encouraged her to perform at open mics.
Later in 2018, she appeared as a contestant for Comicstaan Season 1 , although she didn't win the show but it gained her a lot of popularity among people. In 2018, she was also a part the marketing campaign by Amazon for the Prime video series 'The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel'. She along with vaious other female Stand-Up Comedians performed short stand-up gigs wearing the Mrs. Maisel's outfit in order to promote the upcoming series. In 2019, she appeared in a MX Original series Kiski Sarkar. In the series various comedians gave their humorous views on the political news. In 2020, Prashasti was a part of 'Ladies Up' , Netflix's all women stand-up special.
