Paaras Thakur, the founder of Canvas Classes is a Chemistry educator for IIT JEE . He has more than 10 years of JEE teacing experience with the most renowned offline and online organisations. He has been a part of Unacademy as Chemistry educator, he joined Unacademy in March 2018 and left Unacademy in February 2021. He is the founder of Canvas Classes (Coaching Classes) . Paaras Thakur posts Chemistry related videos on his YouTube channel, Canvas Classes. He was awarded as one of the top 100 global leaders in Education in 2019.

CAREER

He started his coaching classes for IIT/AIEEE aspirants in 2008 and some of his students cleared these exams and got admission in some of the best colleges of India.
He has been a Chemistry faculty at Radical IIT Academy, JEE skills. He then joined Resonance Eduventures Limited as a lecturer in Chemistry in March 2014 but left the job in May 2015.
He joined ALLEN CAREER INSTITUTE in May 2015 but left in July 2015. 
Then in March 2018 he joined Unacademy as a Chemistry Educator but he left Unacademy in February 2021. Students were shocked by the news of Paaras Sir leaving Unacademy. He stated that he left Unacademy because he wanted to contribute in the educational system in a different way, that's why he has again started uploading lectures on his YouTube channel 'Canvas Classes'. He said that he would now interact with his students through his YouTube channel. He wants to provide free and quality education to all students.
